Peacefulness is the quality of being calm and at perfect rest. The quiet surface of a pond in the calm of the early morning reveals peacefulness.
The Bible declares regarding the Creator:
Before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal. (Revelation 4:6)
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. (Isaiah 26:3)
A Child shall be born unto us, a Son shall be given unto us; and His name shall be called, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
There arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. (Matthew 8:24)
