Old Earth Influence

Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.   1 John 4:4

“Beware that no man take you captive through philosophy and vain deception,
according to the tradition of men, after the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.”   (Colossians 2:8)

Old earth theories of millions and billions of years, developed and expanded over the last 200 years, completely dominate the thinking of modern man.   These unfathomable ages of time are the foundation of Charles Darwin’s evolutionary model which attempts to explain the origin of all species.   The theory of evolution anchors modern humanism which is an attempt to remove God and His Scriptures from modern civilization.

In 1979 G. Richard Bozarth stated in an American Atheist article,
“Evolution destroys utterly and finally the very reason Jesus’ earthly life was supposedly made necessary.
Destroy Adam and Eve and the original sin, and in the rubble you will find the sorry remains of the Son of God.
If Jesus was not the redeemer who died for our sins, and this is what evolution means, then Christianity is nothing.”

Today, incomprehensible ages of time and evolutionary ideas are taught as absolute truth.   Text books, scientific articles, national and state park signage, newspaper articles, news reporters and teachers declare with all sincerity that the tenants of modern geology are established scientific fact.   They believe with an unwavering faith that an explosion referred to as “The Big Bang” brought forth the mystery of life, intelligence, emotions and all the complexities of nature found throughout the universe.   Never explained is the reason for death and decay.

The slideshow below consists of informational signs found at many locations in the United States.   They demonstrate the significant influence uniformitarian and evolutionary dogma has had on American culture.

Notice the following themes as you view the photographs

1.   There are numerous references to mountain uplift and other forces.
2.   Catastrophic events such as volcanic eruptions and floods are referenced.
3.   Water is referenced as playing a sigificant role in creating what is observed.
4.   Information is presented in a precise way although millions and billions of years are involved.
