The Lord reigneth, He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength.   Psalm 93:1

Located in central eastern California, Yosemite National Park was established as a national park in 1890 and consists of 761,268 sq. miles.   It harbors deep valleys, ancient sequoia trees, majestic waterfalls, abundant wildlife, and awesome mountain formations.   Naturalist John Muir once wrote, “It is by far the grandest of all the special temples of nature I was ever permitted to enter.”   Photographer Ansel Adams stated:   “Yosemite Valley, to me, is always a sunrise, a glitter of green and golden wonder in a vast edifice of stone and space.”

The majestic beauty of Yosemite National Park is an enduring testament to the creativity and power of the Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ.   The Bible declares that “All things were created by Him, and for Him,”   (Col 1:16)   and that “Without Him was not any thing made that was made.”   (John 1:3)   He not only created the original world of Genesis 1, but He also skillfully used the world-wide flood in the days of Noah and subsequent events to sculpt the incredible natural wonder known as Yosemite National Park.
