Glacier National Park

O Lord my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with splendor and majesty.   Psalm 104:1

Saint Mary Lake and Wild Goose Island

Located in northwestern Montana, Glacier National Park was established as a national park in 1910 and encompasses over 16,000 sq. miles.   The park is known as the Crown of the Continent and The National Park Service invites the public to:   “Come and experience Glacier’s pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes.   With over 700 miles of trails, Glacier is a hiker’s paradise for adventurous visitors seeking wilderness and solitude.”

Naturalist John Muir stated:   “Wander here a whole summer, if you can.   Thousands of God’s wild blessings will search you and soak you as if you were a sponge, and the big days will go uncounted.”

This truly is a place to “Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.”
