Located in northwestern Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park was originally established as a national park in 1929 with thousands of acres added over the next several decades.   The present day park was established in 1950 consisting of 480 sq. miles.   The National Park Service states:   “Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it.   These are mountains of the imagination.   Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.”

The Teton Range and the surrounding landscape is a natural wonderland giving testament to the power and beauty of its Creator.   The Bible states:   “Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:   Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.”   (Psalm 147:7-8)
